Conductivity
Silver-Elastic is electrically conductive on both sides, allowing low-frequency fields to connect less and be conducted away more easily. Many electrosensitive individuals prefer fabrics that can be grounded.
Care Instructions
- Gentle wash at 30°C / 86°F, preferably using TEXCARE detergent
- A higher washing temperature is not necessary due to the product’s antibacterial properties
- Do not use salts, disinfectants, chlorine-based cleaners, bleaching agents, vinegar-based cleaners, or fabric softeners (these will damage the silver coating and reduce shielding performance)
- Hang dry without direct, constant sunlight, as direct heat can damage the sensitive shielding surface
- Do not tumble dry
- Do not iron
Attenuation
The material was tested across a frequency range from 600 MHz to 40 GHz. At 1 GHz, the shielding effectiveness was measured at 51 dB, blocking 99.999% of electromagnetic waves.
This garment is designed for personal EMF shielding, providing high protection against electromagnetic exposure. Effectiveness may vary depending on the environment and proximity to devices.
Silver Note
Silver products have a limited lifespan, depending on the frequency of use and movement. Discolouration over time is a natural characteristic of silver and not a quality defect. Our products do not use nano-silver technology.
