RF & Magnetic Field Shielding for Guitar/Recording Studios

Reduce RF and low-frequency magnetic field interference in recording studios with specialized shielding materials designed for sensitive audio environments.

Nearby power lines, transformers, electrical panels, wiring, cell towers, Wi-Fi, cellular signals, and other electrical or wireless sources can introduce unwanted electromagnetic interference into a studio environment. Sensitive equipment, including electric guitar pickups, may be particularly susceptible to low-frequency magnetic fields.

Our studio shielding solutions include materials for both major categories:

• Magnetic Field Shielding: MagInduct AF2 and WMF-300 for low-frequency magnetic fields associated with power lines, transformers, electrical panels, and electrical infrastructure.
• RF Shielding: RF shielding materials for radiofrequency signals associated with Wi-Fi, cellular networks, 5G, antennas, and other wireless sources.

Shielding can be applied to walls, ceilings, and other targeted surfaces depending on the source and direction of the field. Measuring RF and magnetic field levels before installation is recommended to determine the appropriate material and coverage.

Ideal for professional recording studios, home studios, performance rooms, guitar recording spaces, and other environments where electromagnetic interference is a concern.
