Solar panel systems, especially those with inverters and power optimisers, generate low-frequency magnetic and high-frequency electrical fields during energy conversion. Always detect first with the Latnex AF-5000 or a magnetic field meter to locate elevated EMF areas around inverters, wiring runs, and control panels.

Keep inverters and electrical components away from bedrooms or frequently occupied areas whenever possible. For interior walls adjacent to these installations, apply EMF-shielding paint or grounded mesh to reduce electric fields.

Use twisted or shielded wiring and ensure proper grounding throughout the system to minimise emissions. Regular monitoring helps maintain both electrical efficiency and a safer EMF environment in solar-equipped homes.
