Affiliate Program Terms

These Affiliate Program Terms ("Terms") govern participation in the EMR Shielding Solutions Affiliate Program (the "Program") operated by EMR Shielding Solutions Inc., 10 Westcreek Dr, Unit 17, Woodbridge, Ontario, Canada ("EMRSS", "we", "us"). By applying to or participating in the Program you ("Affiliate", "you") agree to these Terms. The Program is administered through the GoAffPro platform at affiliate.emrss.com.

1. Enrollment and approval

  • All applications are reviewed manually. We may accept or decline any application at our sole discretion and without stating a reason.
  • You must be at least 18 years old, provide accurate information (including a real website or channel), and keep your profile and payment details current.
  • Coupon, deal, cashback, loyalty and price-comparison websites and browser extensions require explicit written approval and, if accepted, are placed in a separate commission group with a reduced rate and no customer discount code.
  • One account per person or company. Duplicate or shared accounts may be closed and unpaid commissions forfeited.

2. Commissions

  • Commission rates are shown in your affiliate dashboard and may differ by product collection and by affiliate group. We may change rates prospectively with 14 days' notice by email or dashboard announcement.
  • Commission is calculated on the product subtotal of qualifying orders, excluding taxes, shipping, discounts, and gift cards.
  • Attribution window: 90 days from the last click on your affiliate link or use of your assigned coupon code. Last click wins.
  • No commission is paid on orders that are cancelled, refunded, charged back, fraudulent, placed by you or your household, placed using an unauthorised or expired discount code, or placed by other affiliates in the Program.
  • Commissions are provisional until the order is fulfilled and the return window has closed. We may reverse a commission within 60 days of the order date.
  • Quotes, dealer orders, wholesale orders and custom shielding projects negotiated directly with EMRSS staff are excluded unless agreed in writing.

3. Payouts

  • Approved commissions are paid monthly via PayPal (in USD) once your approved balance reaches USD 50. Balances below the minimum roll over to the next month.
  • You are responsible for any PayPal fees, taxes and reporting obligations in your jurisdiction. We may request a W-9, W-8BEN or equivalent form before releasing payment.
  • Payment disputes must be raised within 60 days of the payout date.

4. Permitted promotion

  • Content sites, blogs, video channels, podcasts, newsletters and social media accounts that you own and that are disclosed in your application.
  • Honest reviews, tutorials, buyer's guides and comparisons using the approved product information and creative assets available in the affiliate dashboard.
  • Your assigned coupon code (if issued) may only be shared with your own audience through your own channels.

5. Prohibited activities

The following will result in commission reversal and may result in immediate termination:

  • Health and medical claims. You may not state or imply that any product prevents, treats, cures or diagnoses any disease or medical condition (including electromagnetic hypersensitivity, cancer, infertility, sleep disorders or autism), or that products offer "complete" or "100%" protection. Describe products only in terms of measured attenuation, shielding performance and intended use as published by EMRSS or the manufacturer.
  • Brand bidding and paid search. No bidding on, or use as keywords of, "EMRSS", "EMR Shielding Solutions", "WOREMOR", "YSHIELD", "LATNEX", "RF Explorer" or misspellings and variations thereof in any paid search, shopping or social advertising, and no direct-linking of paid ads to emrss.com.
  • Coupon abuse. Publishing, listing or distributing EMRSS discount codes on coupon or deal sites, forums or extensions, or promoting codes that were not issued to you.
  • Cookie stuffing, forced clicks, pop-unders, iframes, toolbars, browser extensions, or any technique that sets an affiliate cookie without a deliberate click by the visitor.
  • Misrepresentation. Presenting yourself as EMRSS, using our name or logos in domain names, social handles or business names, or creating pages designed to look like emrss.com.
  • Unsolicited communication (spam email, SMS, comments or messages), and any content that is unlawful, defamatory, adult, hateful or infringing.
  • Self-referrals and purchases for resale using your own link or code.
  • Promotion via trademark-infringing, counterfeit or grey-market listings, or on marketplaces (Amazon, eBay, etc.).

6. Disclosure and compliance

  • You must clearly disclose your affiliate relationship wherever you place links or codes, in accordance with the FTC Endorsement Guides (US), the Competition Bureau of Canada guidance, the UK CMA/ASA rules and any other applicable law.
  • You are solely responsible for your content and for complying with all laws, platform policies and tax obligations applicable to you.

7. Intellectual property

We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive licence to use the EMRSS name, logos, product images and creative assets provided in the affiliate dashboard solely to promote the Program under these Terms. You may not modify our logos or use our marks in any way that suggests endorsement of your other activities. All goodwill accrues to EMRSS. The licence ends when your participation ends.

8. Term and termination

  • Either party may end participation at any time by written notice (email is sufficient). We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for breach of these Terms, fraud, or inactivity of 12 months.
  • On termination you must remove all EMRSS links, codes and assets within 7 days. Approved, non-reversed commissions earned before termination will be paid in the normal cycle, except where termination is for breach, in which case unpaid commissions are forfeited.

9. Confidentiality and data

Commission rates offered to you, performance data, and any non-public information about EMRSS products or customers are confidential. You must not collect or process personal data of EMRSS customers. Affiliate account data is processed by GoAffPro under its privacy policy and by EMRSS under our Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimers and liability

The Program and tracking platform are provided "as is". We do not guarantee that tracking will be error-free or that any level of earnings will be achieved. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you under these Terms is limited to the unpaid, approved commissions owed to you at the time of the claim. You will indemnify EMRSS against claims arising from your content, your promotional methods or your breach of these Terms.

11. Changes

We may amend these Terms by posting a revised version at this page and notifying you by email or dashboard notice. Continued participation after 14 days constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, you must stop promoting and close your account.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada.
