The EMF AF-5000 Tri-Field Meter is engineered to measure three specific types of electromagnetic fields: Radio Frequency (RF), Magnetic Fields, and Electric Fields. Featuring a user-friendly interface and intuitive display, this meter allows users to accurately evaluate their exposure to different EMF sources in their surroundings.

In RF mode, the meter detects and quantifies signals from various sources, including cell towers, smart meters, 5G transmitters, WiFi modems, routers, Cordless phones, smart appliances, and Bluetooth devices. The Magnetic Fields mode gauges the strength of magnetic fields produced by power lines, appliances, motors, transformers and electronics. Additionally, the Electric Fields mode measures electric fields generated by wiring, appliances, solar panels and other sources.

Accurate reading and sensitive enough to pick up low level EMFs

Used this to test the emf in my apartment unit adjacent to a substation. It picks up the range of emfs that the cheaper 30 dollar readers could not pick up. If I had just used the cheap reader alone, I would have falsely believed that my unit was emf free and it would have been detrimental to my long term health.

Not enough instructions for operator

The delivery was very good. It comes with 2 sets of batteries which is thoughtful. The screen is easy to read. However there is not enough instruction about initial set up and operation for novice users. Some instruction about how and where to sample and how to interpret results and an explanation of the data. Otherwise, it seems sturdy and well built but not much use unless new users can understand the importance of the data. I looked for user support at the website listed on the packaging but only saw assistance for purchasing other products.
