Routers continuously emit RF radiation 24/7. Always detect first with the Latnex AF-5000 to identify the strongest sources and directions of exposure.
If your Wi-Fi signal comes from your own modem, place it as far away as possible from areas where you spend time — ideally in a basement or an unused room. Whenever possible, turn it off at night, either manually or through your router’s built-in timer or software settings.
For daily use, choose a wired Ethernet connection instead of Wi-Fi. When using a laptop, avoid placing it directly on your lap — use a laptop tray, or EMF-shielding clothing or blankets for protection.
It’s important to distinguish between two types of Wi-Fi sources:
Internal sources – Your own router and devices, which you can control.
External sources – Neighbours’ Wi-Fi signals from adjacent walls, ceilings, or floors, which you can’t control.
For internal sources, disconnect Wi-Fi when not needed or during sleep, and keep your modem as far as possible from your bed.
For external sources, especially when they’re strong or share a common wall or ceiling, use EMF-shielding materials such as shielding paint. Apply it to the shared wall or ceiling, or use shielding fabrics, canopies, or floor mats to block incoming radiation effectively.
